Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") govern your relationship with www.mutazaayid.com website (the "Service") operated by Mutazaayid Tuition Agency ("Mutazaayid", "the agency", "us", "we", or "our").

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Service.

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

Payment

Clients are required to settle the outstanding invoice within 3 days after invoice is issued and are responsible to keep the receipt of transaction for proof.

If agreed payment between us and the client is not made to the agency within three days, reminders will be sent to the client. However, if payment is still not received after three days, we will not hesitate to engage legal services. Debtor will then be required to settle all costs including legal fees and costs incurred by Mutazaayid due to repeated demands of payment.

Tutors are responsible for any duties, taxes or levies imposed by taxing rules for any fees collected through our services.

All currency references in this website are in Singapore dollars.

Tutors

By using our service, tutors are to acknowledge and accept that 50% of their first four weeks of pay will be deducted upon completion of two weeks' worth of lessons and is to be paid by parents or tutees to the agency for agency commission.

 

Tutors are strictly not allowed to collect agency fees from parents or tutees directly.

In the event that the parent accidentally or knowingly paid the agency fees to tutors, tutors are strictly required to make full payment to the agency within 3 days upon notice from the agency. Tutors who fail to do so will be permanently blacklisted and banned from applying future assignments. Legal action may be taken against such tutors.

In the event that the parent requests tutor's assistance in settling payment or has passed the agency fees directly to tutors, tutors are strictly required to contact the coordinator assigned to them. The coordinator will then assist the parent accordingly. Tutors may also send in an e-mail to admin@mutazaayid.com for assistance.

 

Tutors are also strictly not allowed to establish and adopt a similar business model (e.g Tuition Agency) upon registering as a tutor under Mutazaayid.

However, tutors are allowed to teach and join other tuition agencies or teaching institutions as tutors.

​

Tutors who have been found to behave inappropriately and unprofessionally in any instance will be removed and blacklisted from Mutazaayid.

Cancellation & postponement

​

Tutors are to inform their assigned coordinators should there by any cancellation of lessons by either parent or tutor during the first month.

​

In the event that cancellations occur before the commencement of the first lesson by either parent of tutors, both parties are to adhere to the following policies:

Cancellation by parents/tutees

​

Within first month upon lesson commencement

1 day before lesson: No fees will be charged to parents or tutees

Less than 2 hours before lesson: 50% of the commission is to be paid to the agency. Tutors will receive half of the amount.

No-show without valid reason: Full cost of commission is to be paid to the agency. Tutors will receive half of the amount.

After deduction of agency commission

1 day before lesson: No fees will be charged to parents or tutees

Less than 2 hours before lesson: 50% of 1 lesson is to be paid to the tutor.

No-show: Full cost of 1 lesson is to be paid to the tutor.

Cancellation by tutors

1 day before lesson: Tutor to conduct a replacement lesson

Less than 2 hours before lesson: Tutor to conduct a replacement lesson

No-show without valid reason: Tutor to conduct a replacement lesson and is required to pay the agency the cost of 1 lesson for time, cost and effort incurred by the agency and are required to drop the assignment while we find a replacement tutor.

Personal Information

Mutazaayid has the right to verify credentials given by the tutors by requesting for educational transcripts, whether in digital form or hardcopy, and present it to the client if need be. 

Information provided by clients and tutors will only be shared between them and Mutazaayid. Parents, tutees and tutors are not allowed to disclose any particulars of clients or tutors to any other party.

Results

While we strive to provide the client the best tutor available, Mutazaayid is not responsible for any tutor misconduct. We are also not accountable for the tutee's academic improvements or deterioration.

Links To Other Web Sites

Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Mutazaayid Tuition Agency.

Mutazaayid Tuition Agency has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Mutazaayid Tuition Agency shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.

The owner of this website own all the intellectual property rights and materials involved in this service. 

Content found in this site and our social media handles (Instagram @mutazaayid and Facebook www.facebook.com/mutazaayid) belongs to Mutazaayid and is protected by copyright.

By using this website, you agree that you will not take, copy, modify, publish or transmit any of the content found on this website. You are strictly prohibited from making any unauthorized use of protected content. Use of protected content not for personal use requires prior written permission from Mutazaayid or the copyright owner. You agree that you do not own any ownership rights in any protected content.
